I remember in 1969 at Earlwood Public School sitting in my year 4 class and being told by our teacher that if we were to have any hope of good well paid jobs we needed to know our ‘times tables’. Constant repetition aided my memory and helped me to learn. Psalm 136, uses a similar framework to teach a basic but very profound truth that God’s love can always be trusted.
